Narrative Poem Outline (Title)
In the very first stanza of this poem,
Introduce your characters and situations,
It isn’t too hard; just choose a place
like a new school or habitation.
An essential element of any great story is
when your character encounters a problem.
The second stanza is a wonderful place
To include that important item.
Rising action comes next my friend
And your character’s development.
Propose some solutions and don’t forget
Let’s build up some excitement.
We’re almost there to the exciting part.
Of course, the climax it is called.
It makes the situation turn around
And keeps your audience enthralled.
You made it to the final stanza.
Don’t stop we’re almost done.
Just tell us how it all works out,
It’s called the resolution.
You did it! Hooray! You created a poem.
But you’re not finished quite yet.
Go back, reword, use rhythm and rhyme
To produce a beautiful vignette.
